But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33
The puzzle of life can often make us feel out of place as if we don’t fit in. When the truth is, we’re the “perfect fit” for the purposed life God has created for us. Often times we try to take on positions, opportunities, people and things not fit for our destiny and it seems as if we’re trying to place a perfectly round circle into a four sided square; it just won’t fit! As we continue trying to fit the disproportionate shape into our life, we feel like things are just not coming together. When the fact of the matter is, we have not consulted God regarding the pieces of the puzzle. Crown Jewels, there are pieces to our purpose that are overlooked or discounted because our focus is on the square piece that won’t fit. The word of God teaches us in Matthew 6:33 to, “seek ye first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto thee.” This is the piece of the puzzle that we are missing. You see, we tend to get this piece of the puzzle backwards. Instead of seeking God’s Kingdom, we seek the “added unto thee” part of the puzzle first. This is when we begin to feel out of place! This is when things seem to not add up. Women of Excellence, this is when our life becomes disproportionate to our purpose. This is when we feel like a circle trying to fit into a square.
As believers, it is essential for us to seek and consult God on every decision, in every area and aspect of our lives. In order for every piece of the puzzle to come together, God must be consulted. From our smallest request and desires to our largest most seemingly impossible aspirations. We must ask God if the pieces we’re requesting are connected to our purpose. Will this job, relationship, friendship, person, event, church, volunteer opportunity or experience positively or negatively impact my destiny? Crown Jewels, if we are struggling trying to make things and people fit into our lives then we may need to go back to the manufacturer. The manufacturer has given instructions for the perfect fit:
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
Psalm 139:13 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
Peter 3:3-4 Don’t be concerned about the outward beauty that depends on fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes. You should be known for the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God.
Proverbs 14:1 The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down.
Mark 9:23 If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believeth.
Job 22:28 Thou shall decree a thing and it shall be established unto thee and a light shall shine upon thy ways.
Psalms 27:14 Wait on the Lord, be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart. Wait, I say on the Lord.
Proverbs 23:5:6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths. Philippians 1:6
And I am sure that he who began a good work in you will complete it.
Women of God, we can be rest assured that we are the “perfect fit!” No matter how disproportionate the pieces of the puzzle may seem, we can get the picture right. All we have to do is seek what Daddy has for us. Defy our own personal agendas for His agenda and the pieces of the puzzle begin to fit together perfectly.
